I first became interested in photography when I was smitten with the travel bug and wanted a record of the fabulous places I visited and a way of sharing the experience with friends and family. This was back in the day when you had to wait three weeks for the films to be developed!
In 2006, we brought Jake in to our family (a rather "Special" Weimaraner). He really was the inspiration for me to try to take my photography to the next level. I loved attempting to capture his personality and the relationship with our family. Not to mention he was the most handsome chap. He is sorely missed, but we have some wonderful mementos around our home.
In 2008 I started helping a friend shoot weddingsI I love sharing the experience of the wedding day and being able to photograph and record the day and then produce a story book album, which will become a cherished family heirloom. I pride myself on being able to record the interaction between family members. I know that when I capture that moment it will last a lifetime and beyond.
I have a private studio and offer photography sessions for families and loved pets, as well as taking on commercial work.
For your peace of mind, I have an enhanced DBS certificate.

Barry photographed our wedding in the lake district, he is approachable friendly and extremely professional, nothing was a problem or too much trouble, he is able to communicate with children and gentle folk alike and got the best photos we could have wished for, he put together an album which has pride of place in our lounge and is loved by all the family. If you want the best for your wedding day you cannot ask for a better photographer.
